Officially opened in 1990, H.O.P.E. Co–operative Homes Inc. is a family–oriented, 60–unit townhouse development located in the vibrant Yonge Street and Mulock Drive area of Newmarket. We are located in a growing area, very close to schools, parks and shopping. This area of the town is well served by York Region Transit and Viva and GO Transit buses are steps away on Yonge Street.
As a federally–sponsored non–profit housing co–operative H.O.P.E. [which is an acronym for Housing Opportunities for People Everywhere] is collectively owned and run by resident members. In real terms, this means the members can build the type of community they desire, working to ensure it evolves in ways they want. Co–ops provide their members with the unique opportunity and the power to improve their quality of life within a democratic framework.
We currently have two and three–bedroom vacancies available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must fill out and submit an application form which can be downloaded, or picked up from the office.
